Licences
What's inside contactsheets.app, and whose work it is.
The code
The sheet maker (layout, PDF writer, TIFF, HEIF and RAW readers, EXIF reader, ZIP reader) is our own code, written for this site, with no third-party libraries. HEIC photos are decoded by your own browser or device; no HEVC decoder is shipped.
Fonts
- Liberation Sans and Liberation Mono 2.1.5 (SIL Open Font License 1.1): embedded, unmodified, in PDFs whose text needs characters beyond Western European ones. Otherwise PDFs use the standard Helvetica and Courier fonts every PDF reader has.
- Big Shoulders Display, Hanken Grotesk and IBM Plex Mono, the fonts of this website: SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Sample photos
The sample photos are from Wikimedia Commons, released into the public domain under CC0 by their photographers, and reduced in size for this site. The full list with sources is in third-party-notices.txt.
Every licence text is in third-party-notices.txt.
